Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones has been lined up to unveil a sculpture of the great Irish artist Sir William Orpen in Stillorgan this weekend. Orpen is one of the most revered artists ever to have emerged from this country.

Project manager Dominic Lee has been fundraising for the sculpture with the help of The Stillorgan Chamber of Commerce for a number of years and is delighted that’s it’s finally coming to fruition.

Having his old pal Ronnie Wood unveil the Rowan Gillespie bronze sculpture is naturally a huge bonus and a large crowd are expected to attend the event at The Talbot Hotel Stillorgan on Saturday 15th Sept. 2018.
